This vertical (graduate and undergraduate) design studio introduces and/or advances skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to operate in the space between architecture, culture and spirituality. In this iteration, we will examine how an advanced modern vision may bring ecology and mythology together in order to restore and renew our response to God, living beings, and nature through architecture. The studio will pursue this agenda following the insights and experience of master architect Travis Price -– the 2023 Walton Critic.
